Outeniqua Farmers’ Market, George

The Outeniqua Farmers’ Market is located opposite the Garden Route Mall on the N2, at the foot of the beautiful Outeniqua Mountain.
Surrounded by lush greenery and tall trees, it’s the ideal stop-over on a Saturday morning, with a whole range of breakfast options! The five-hectare site is home to nearly 80 food and craft stalls offering produce and goods created by local farmers and skilled craftspeople. From berries to bread, fish to flowers and everything in between, local residents and international visitors will find carefully selected goods to suit the most discerning tastes at reasonable prices.

The market offers something for everyone – but be warned: once you bring the kids you may find it hard to get them to leave. There are plenty of fun activities to keep them busy, like a small petting zoo, SandArt fun, pony cycles, a unique choo choo train, wooden jungle gym and much more.

Open every Saturday from 08.00 – 14.00
